• Whistles Opens First U.S. Store in New York

    Whistles, the British contemporary fashion brand, has opened its first U.S. flagship at 150 Spring Street in New York.
    The 1,000-square-foot store houses the complete womenswear collection, including Limited Edition, footwear and accessories.
    The New York store, which says “Nice to Meet You” in the window, was designed in collaboration with Matter, the London-based art, design and fabrication studio. The space has a gallery-inspired aesthetic, taking influence from sculptural references and using an artisanal approach to create handcrafted fixtures.

    U.K.-based luxury eyewear brand Linda Farrow today opens its third U.S. stand-alone store at 8409 Melrose Place in Los Angeles. The store follows Bal Harbour and New York locations opened within the last 18 months, reinforcing the brand's presence in the U.S. The brand dabbled in the L.A. retail scene with a pop-up at Platform in Culver City.
