28 days ago - By Hypebeast

The Brooklyn Museum has just announced a new exhibition, detailing the life and works of Mexican-artist Frida Kahlo. The show is titled, 'Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving,' and is the largest U.S. exhibition in a decade. The show will display much of her possessions and unseen art; including clothes, pre-colonial jewelry, as well as a number of hand-painted corsets and prosthetics used throughout her lifetime. Much of the items have been locked away since her death in 1954, but are now to be displayed and highlight the many interests of Kahlo and her husband, Diego Rivera.
