Galeries Lafayette Champs Elysées Announces ‘Retail Academy' Program

PARIS - Don't call them salespeople. Members of the future sales team of the Galerie Lafayette Champs Elysées will be dubbed “personal stylists.”
The retailer, which is recruiting the sales team for its upcoming flagship, has launched its “Retail Academy” training program in partnership with the Institut Français de la Mode.
Upon the opening of the new Galeries Lafayette store in the spring, the 300 “personal stylists” at Galeries Lafayette Champs Elysées will have benefited from a bespoke training program aiming to adapt the profession to the digitalization of retail.
