    Continuing the current executive shake-up happening within major sportswear companies, Mark Parker has just announced that he is officially stepping down from his long-time role as Nike' President and CEO, and will instead assume an Executive Chairman position within the company. Parker has been the company's CEO since 2006 and Chairman, President & CEO since 2016. Taking his place will be John Donahoe, who is currently the President and CEO of ServiceNow, Inc.     Nike's Mark Parker Handing CEO Spot John Donahoe

    Change is coming to the top of Nike Inc.
    Mark Parker will become executive chairman of the company and hand the titles of president and chief executive officer to John J. Donahoe 2nd, a member of the company's board.
    The change takes effect Jan. 13.
    Donahoe, 59, has been a director at Nike since June 2014 and is currently president and ceo of ServiceNow, Inc., a post he's had since 2017. Before that, he lead eBay Inc. from 2008 to 2015.
