    Surf, sartorial and a hint of glamour were the disparate ingredients of Sportmax's spring collection.
    The show opened with a series of tailored pieces, including a suit with Bermuda shorts, a long, sleeveless blazer worn as a dress, an asymmetric skirt which was worn with a bikini, as well as a jacket layered over a one-piece swimsuit. Ergonomic cuts and color blocking introduced the surf theme, which was developed throughout the show.

    Milan's historic Biblioteca Braidense in Brera served as the venue for Gabriele Colangelo's collection for Giada. Brera is Milan's artistic district, which fit with Colangelo's inspiration: British abstract artist and architect Victor Pasmore.
    Fine pleats fanned out and draped over pantsuits or blouses in a delicate color palette of different shades of green, bronze and cooper.     Anna Molinari embraced athleisure with gusto in a collection that shone bright with day-glo spandex shorts, onesies and sports bras layered under billowing gossamer fabrics. It was a big swerve for Milan's princess of cashmere, fluffy trim and gentle pastels, and a clear signal that she wants to connect with Millennials. But is this really what her customer wants?
