    Annie Sez, the plucky retailer with the tag line, “It's not just a store. It's an obsession,” survived lawsuits from luxury brands, disgruntled vendors, Hurricane Sandy, bankruptcy proceedings and new ownership. Now Toronto-based YM, which in 2013 acquired the chain, is closing or converting to sister brand Mandee all 20 Annie Sez units.
